Innovative Flex Spherical + MIPS technology acts as a kind of suspension inside the helmet. The helmet actually consists of two hemispheres: the outer of the harder EPS foam and the inner of the softer EPP foam. Both are bonded by yellow elastomers and slide on each other like a joint. In the event of an impact, the outer hemisphere shall immediately stop whilethe inner hemisphere and head can continue to move, which slowly dampens the elastomers. Simply suspension.
